PRP INJECTIONS
Hair PRP Injections
What is it
Hair restoration using PRP, or platelet rich plasma, is a regenerative, non-surgical option for the treatment of hair loss and thinning. As we already know, PRP is rich in growth factors and cytokines. These blood components play a crucial role in healing damaged tissue, nurturing wounded cells, and signaling other important cellular components like stem cells to activate and respond to needed areas. When it comes to hair restoration, research has shown that PRP injections increase hair growth by increasing blood supply to the area, increasing the strength of existing follicles, and regenerating new follicles lost to androgenic hair loss.
PRP hair injections involve a three step process:
1. You will have multiple vials of blood drawn from your arm. These vials will be placed into a centrifuge and spun for several minutes in order to separate your highly concentrated platelet rich plasma from the rest of your blood.

2. Next we sterilely transfer the separated platelets into multiple syringes.
3. The final step involves injecting the PRP throughout the scalp using tiny, tiny nano needles. The entire process takes roughly one hour with the needling portion only taking about a third of that time.
